finally! my violin exam is over! yay. it was quite creepy. haha. i could literally feel the sweat dripping down my body. lolz. and i'm sure you all know....i don't sweat a lot. haha. but anyway. it's over! (:
ohh the reception yesterday was quite pathetic. lol. but somehow i like it that way. nice and cosy. reminds me of last year, before the new sec 1s came in. violin 1 section was like so small and nice. well not that it isn't nice this year. i just think it was nicer last year. and i think it's nice being sec 1 too! haha.

wow. it's the end of the june hols already. i'm freaking pissed. don't get me wrong. i'm not pissed because the hols are over. i'm pissed because some people expect me to clear up their shit for them while they slack around happily. apparently on the pretext of finishing up their unfinished homework while it appears that i've finished most of mine. now get this clear. i am being nice already by finishing up this stupid task for all of you. hello. i have already done more than my fair share of work. sheesh. *glares* waste of my time trying to edit your stupid rubbish. i'm extremely busy okay. look. maybe you've got a lot of your activities...but hello. so do i. learn to manage your time for heaven's sake. but okay. to be fair to you. some of what you did made some sense at least. so that is very good. yesh.

(: okay i am being lame. >< boink. we're playing for some reception for ministers tomorrow. in the dingy little ks chee. wow. i wonder how they'll react when they see our little ensemble of 4 cellist, 0 violists, 4 violin 2s and TWO violin 1s. haha. sheesh yes. margaret and i are the only violin 1s available for the reception tomorrow. pathetic isn't it. ahaha. i wonder why the rest can't come. that is really sad.

boink. went out with denise today! yayy so fun! (: we watched mr and mrs smith. it was very nice. (: haha. my vocab seems limited. and it seems really cool and fun to be an assasin. (: like the way they shoot people is really so fast and accurate. hehe. do i sound like i'm planning to become one? lol. well i'm not really planning to be one. heh. the movie and the popcorn and whatnots were a treat from denise.....thx nise! (: and we collected a lot of zocards! yay. now i have enough to write letters for the whole of term 3. i was running low on my supply of postcards previously.
hmm. then we went to take neos at heeren! i was expecting to get lost again [like what happened last time] but haha well. denise is really pro at directions so we didn't get lost. (: yay the neos turned out nicer than the previous time. at least they were bigger. and we didn't look so unprepared in the shots cos we already had the experience of taking neos. (: yay. it does look quite nice. and peenk. [i think i'm getting to like pink a bit more than last time....must be due to the influence of countless people who like pink. eg. denise, deanna, huirong. ]
then we went takashimaya for lunch. okay. technically we bought our food from there.[we bought yakun set because we were planning to go for haagen dazs ice cream after that...] BUT. the place was too crowded. zero seats. so we went to the indoor fountain. there was this idiot guy who was taking up sooo much space. not like he was very fat anyway. denise was like "personal space?!" i was like "wow such a huge personal space? he must be a hermit." we really wanted to tell him to move over...but you never know...he might turn dangerous. haha. so we went out of the building and sat on one of the benches there. me likes yakun. (: and so does nise.
then. we went to haagen dazs for custard pudding ice cream. it's a new flavour. (: my treat this time. (: me lurves ice cream. especially haagen dazs. especially custard pudding, macadamia and green tea flavour. (: plus today's ice cream had two chunks of brownie, whipped cream, one scoop of custard pudding and one scoop of vanilla. some caramel cream thing too. yummyyy! (: ohh the cone was nice too...although there were holes in it and the ice cream kept oozing out. nise was being gross by saying that the "ice cream was sweating" haha. okay gross but funny. (x
end of outing. i went for a haircut! yay. i don't really like haircuts but today's haircut was really nice. me luvs it a lot. (: i was really expecting the outcome to be quite disastrous [as most of them did in the past]. okay. not really disastrous. i'm exaggerating. not so bad but no so good either. haha. the hairdresser spent like one hr twenty mins cutting my hair :/ i was dozing off...she kept having to straighten my head. ahaha.
had violin lesson after that. mr sze apparently seemed to have forgotten about the "interesting incident". yay. or maybe he just didn't wanna embarrass me further. yayy. all the better. (:
okay. a lot of nice stuff happened in the past few days too.
shall start from strings camp. (: woot. being a facilitator is fun fun fun. and my group rox too! fan fan, nerissa yanting and rachie soh. (: okay i shall just repeat what i said in my comments about my group after the camp was over. "okay. basically you all were very enthu and did all the stuff without complaining....you're a wonderful group [i said something else here but i can't remember what. bah nvm.] and i am very proud of all of you. viv said i sounded very sweet and "xiaojie" when i was commenting. hmmm. is that good or bad? okay i think it's good (:
my group was so amusing....seriously. there was one where they had to take a photo of the green cloth that we used for our syf scarves. then they were like "aiyahh just take the dustbin lah!" haha. and then at one station they had to sing a medley of ten pop songs... complete with actions. this station was at the far east fountain which was outside a travel agency. anyway. one of the songs was "shut up" by simple plan....and when they were singing, the person inside the travel agency was staring angrily at us...i think she really wanted to tell them to shut up. heh. and their actions were so amusing (: although they kept laughing in the middle of the songs. i wish facilitator could take part too. so fun. ohh and we had lunch at turkish restaurant. i think it's called anatolia. hee. we're going to make it a strings tradition to go there for lunch every strings camp. (: it appears that nise and i have this "tradition" of sharing food during strings camp too. we shared the sandwich and the chocolate pudding. ooohh the pudding was yummyy! margaret's recommendation. (: yay. oh yeah. i forgot to say this just now but i think my group rox....although they didn't win the prize. (: ohh denise's group won. marg's group was second. my group was third! (: yay.
haha. then on tuesday i went to the nursing home opposite my house for cip. we were watching a movie. such a fun activity. (: national treasure! haha. oooh it's very nice. it's about the treasure of the masons and the knight's templar. i find it coincidental that i happen to be reading angels and demons now...which is also about the anti-catholic cults. wow. so interesting. should have chosen that as our rs topic. (: it's so interesting.rather than doing stupid dialects. bahhh. one of these days when i'm free [if i ever get a chance] me wants to go read up more. it's so interesting. lol. first time i actually feel like reading up on something. wow. and please don't get the wrong idea that i wanna join an anti-catholic cult cos i am already catholic. oooh and vatican city seems like a very nice place (: wheee.
hmmm. wednesday. last day for tutoring st andrew boys. i guess i'll miss them. they're so cute and amusing. and i never knew joel was capable of getting a laughing fit. he seems like a little grouch to me. but well. he proved me wrong. haha, stace says that they are getting naughtier every session. lol. well. and elijah is like so amusing. he was imitating elaine's sign language. so dramatic that i choked on water. elijah's response: " ahhh calm down! oh no! send nicole to a hospital! " sheesh. so dramatic. and so. everyone else was staring at the three of us: me---coughing and sputtering, joel and elijah----laughing like maniacs. sigh. lol. but tutoring is fun! yay! i didn't expect cip to be this fun. omg. i am embarrassed and malu-ed and mortified and whatever other synonyms you can think of. SIGH. never in my whole life has such an embarrassing incident ever happened. until yesterday. during violin lesson. bahh. [and it seems that such "interesting" incidents always happens during violin lessons...yupp. like last week, my finger started bleeding in the middle of the lesson. sheesh. i still can't figure out why.]
anyway. :( i was playing half-way when i noticed mr sze squatting on the ground staring at something. yeah and i was wondering if he happened to be staring at my shoe or maybe an ant or some other interesting thing. haha yes. and then when i finished playing, he was like "what's that?" and then the blur me was like "what?" yes. "there. on the floor" and i looked. and i almost got the shock of my life. yes.
my blouse strap dropped on the floor. [goodness knows why it was made to be detachable in the first place] yes. but that's not the point. the point is that it looked like a
bra strap. sheesh. and i bet that's what he thought it was too. anyway. my answer to the question was "oh no! i really have no idea" yes. i was too embarrassed to think of a better answer than that. yes and i know that answer was really dumb. "but it dropped from
you" was the reply that i got. yes true. it dropped from me. sigh. i was so mortified that i picked it up quickly and dumped it into my bag. yes. and i really wished for a hole to appear in the ground so that i could jump into it and hide my malu-ation. yeah and i was so mortified that i forgot to say thank you. i mean seriously. haha and then i was thinking "oh no.....so that was why he was staring at the floor." it's true okay. he was practically scrutinising it. omg. should just have told him that it was my blouse strap. sigh. too late now....bleah. what is he going to think of me?! better wear sunglasses next lesson...haha joking. i'm not going to look like a terrorist. i already look like one when i carry the violin. anyway. yes and i am shocked and horrified that it happened in front of two men!!! yes because mr chong the accompanist was there too. he just turned away. i hope he wasn't laughing. eeeks. this is so dreadful. omg. i seriously hope it won't happen again. no wait. of course it won't happen again cos i am so not going to wear that blouse to violin lesson ever again. omg. and i guess this isn't one of the incidents that anyone would forgot in a hurry. sheeeeesh. *wails* and i am extremely puzzled as to how the strap could detach itself in the first place. i mean i was wearing a jacket and it was the left strap so the shoulder rest should have been clamping down on it right? *wails again*
anyway. rjc alumni concert was really nice. too bad i had to leave halfway for lesson. yeah if i didn't have to leave for lesson, the thing would just have dropped in the dark without anyone knowing and it wouldn't have been so bad. sigh. anyway. i come to the conclusion that all rce people are pro! heh.
ohh strings camp is tomorrow! it's going to be soooo fun! *evil grin* the best thing is that i get to watch my group being utterly malu-ed in public. HEE. yayy facilitating is super fun! (: lol. but don't worry...i am going to be a nice facilitator....but anyway. i'm ALWAYS nice (x haha. activities were planned by dawnee, margaret, denise and meee! haha. i really can't wait. it is quite fun [maluation aside]

bahh. i've been so busy...haven't had the time to blog...haha. okay. where shall i start...hmmm. okay, i'll start with the math pt. seriously...it is such a gruelling task. making me sick of math. for the first time in my whole life. [lol. not really actually. the first time i was sick of math was when i was p6. the teacher gave us so many psle mock papers. haha.]
anyway. it's seriously nuts. economics isn't even sec2 standard! sighz. and i spent like five hours in front of the comp doing the pt. stupid. by midnight, i was a total block of stone already. yeps. literally
stone. and then i was so tired i slept immediately. and guess what time i woke up....
12 noon. omg. i've never woken up so late in my whole life. ><
but anyway my group members [denise yam and zhimin] are quite fun to work with. yeah. and we even came up with this silly joke about me having a sister. yeah. okay so my sis is twenty plus years old, and her name is ricola. guess how that name was derived... lolz. nicole => nicola => ricola! haha. i think it all started because zhimin asked me if i was the only child...and i then i said in a sarcastic tone "haha nooo i have a sister! didn't you know..." lolz. she almost believed it. and then denise asked who's listening to radio [the radio was on at that time...we were at my house doing the pt] and i was like "hahaha. my sis! ahaha" lol. so lame right.... (:
oooh and then last sunday i watched a german film on the downfall of hitler [my idol! ] at orchard cineleisure. woot. it was wonderful! heh. hitler was actually quite a nice person. (: he just appeared harsh on the outside...but he was actually really caring. yeah. and he actually wanted to defend germany from russia...but then his soldiers were traitors and they betrayed him...so germany fell. sniff...how sad. ohh yeah and it was quite freaky and morbid too. like first hitler and his wife shot themselves, and then the chancellor and his wife poisoned their children so they wouldn't have to suffer. and then the chancellor shot himself and his wife. so the whole family died. freaky. i can't imagine shooting myself in the mouth. *freaks out* i hate blood. >< anyway. it was a really fantabulous show! must watch! they have english subtitles anyway so it isn't that bad. (:and i'm so proud of myself....i actually understood bits and pieces of what they were saying! whee yay! (:
ohh and last monday i went to st andrews junior sch for service learning. had to tutor p6 boys in math. lol. i was teaching this boy called elijah. haha. and coincidentally i had to ask him for directions on how to get to the sch compound. it's really huge...about the size of rgps. (: lolz. tutoring is quite fun. hee. and then i went again today. but i was teaching another boy. [elijah wasn't around] lol. i shall not comment on today's session. lol. but it wasn't that bad really. just that i think elijah grasps things faster. (: hee. going again on friday. yay.
okay. going to have dinner now. i doubt i can eat though. i already ate two cakes and two cups of latte. piggy me. i feel like puking.
yeah can you believe it...nicole the pig actually feels like puking. but well. i always feel like puking on the bus anyway. yeah i am carsick and seasick and airsick. >< bah.

whee yay! i baked chocolate chip cookies today! 70 of them. and they all tasted so nice and sweet! and crunchy! hahaha. :) i am sooo proud of myself. heh. i gave some to my neighbour on the tenth floor. isn't she lucky...there's always something nice for her everyday.[i'm quoting her, by the way.] although my mom always said that she must have a very hard time at night, what with "the crazy rgs girl"[referring to me] screaming her lungs out at night, as well as the crazy boy on the floor.[yes, he's seriously crazy. the other morning we were waiting for the lift, and my mom said gd morning to him and he was like "huh?" then my mom repeated her sentence and he just said "oh." and looked down again. always like that. so rude right. and he's so queer. the minute the lift door opens, he will start dashing down the path. running for his life. as though my mom and i were wolves about to eat him up. siao.] anyway. why am i giving a whole commentary on my neighbour and his weird ways. haha. my poor neighbour...surrounded by freaky mentally unstable people. hee.
but omg. i am quite dead. a whole lot of homework is still sitting on my desk, waiting to be completed. sighs. what kind of holiday is this.... bah. i shall stop complaining.

yay finally math olympiad is over! [there's still amc though...sighs. ] lol. i always thought that we would be given 3 hrs for the competition. [haha. i think perhaps it's 3 hrs only for primary math olympiad. so sad.] turned out that we only had 2.5 hrs. not that it makes a difference anyway. [actually it does. might be able to solve a question using trial and error in half and hour. haha. half and hour for one question?! imagine that...] lol. too bad you all didn't see my rough paper. it was just full of scribbles and nothing else. heehee. hmmm. the paper was quite difficult overall...but at least it's better than last year's paper. lol. or perhaps it's because we learnt more during our training this year. [we learnt practically nothing at all last year.] okay anyway. enough about the math olympiad.
went to watch monster-in-law last night with my parents. lol it was super funny. x) omg. i can't imagine what it'll be like if i have that kind of mother-in-law. freaky...haha. the "monster-in-law" was so violent in a funny way. omg. she beat her daughter-in-law up in the middle of the night and pretended that she was having a nightmare. [lol what's the term for it..."sleep-thrashing"? okay lame... :)]
yay i'm so happy! i finished my deutsch pt already! wooohooo! :) *grins* i took so long to find the stuff and then translate back and forth from german to english and english to german. [which involves checking up the dictionary countless times] and i still had to make some sense out of the sentence and then paraphrase it. lol. and for more than half of the german websites i went to, i didn't understand what they were talking about. hahaha. but never mind. it's done already. left with the pics now. i'm gonna use my photos of berlin[haha. isn't it just great and convenient that i went there. no prob with the pics now. :) ] lol. yesterday i was looking through the photos... and i think eastern europe is a really nice place. whee i miss it! :) so nice. lol. my vocab seems rather limited. ahaha. i think i like german even more after doing this pt. lol. i find it strange. as in, if i do too many pts for a particular subject, i'll probably just come to hate it even more. haha. oh wells. but i think germany's history is really interesting. what with the berlin wall and the brandenburg gate and whatnots :) and of course, the great man---hitler! woot. my idol[just joking, i have better taste]
